It's certainly not something fundamental Christians hold a monopoly on. If the faith is the same consistant belief, it shouldnt bible and interracial marriage a problem. Ruth and her sister-in-law were not Hebrew, and Ruth is in Jesus' bloodline. None of these beliefs inherently demand a belief that the races shouldn't mix. The Bible is literally the word of God. The Salvation Army is considered to be a very conservative Christian organization. Culturally, they tend to very strictly adhere to their beliefs and even staunchly oppose the views of other fundamentalists. In summary, it's bible and interracial marriage fundamentalist Christianity that causes these views, but fundamentalism doesn't inherently reject these views the way secular society does. Where will you fit them?
